Terms of use

Use Nivvi as a reading and history app, not as emergency care.

Effective 16 September 2026. These terms describe Nivvi 1.0. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

1. Who provides Nivvi

Michael Waters, trading as Nivvi, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected]. Support is not an emergency or clinical service.

2. What the app does

Nivvi displays supported Bluetooth heart-rate readings and stores measurement snapshots, event logs and user notes on your iPhone. It is intended for adult users, including parents and authorised caregivers managing a child’s profile. Only enter information you have authority to use. A Bluetooth connection does not establish measurement compatibility or accuracy. Nivvi does not imply endorsement by a hardware manufacturer.

3. Readings and alerts

This prototype has not been clinically validated. It does not diagnose a condition, provide emergency monitoring or replace professional care, direct supervision or a prescribed monitoring plan. Do not change medicines or treatment based on its readings. A reading returning within a configured limit does not establish that someone is well. Alerts may be missing, delayed or incorrect. Critical Alerts entitlement is not included. Do not delay urgent help while checking the app.

4. Your information

Keep access to your phone secure and review information before exporting it. History keeps today and the previous 29 calendar days. Optional family sharing is a separate, currently private test described in the privacy notice. Phone backups are controlled by your operating-system settings.

5. Price

This prototype has no in-app subscription. No paid plan arises merely by using it. Future paid access is not promised here.

6. Responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights concerning digital content remain intact. For a UK launch these terms are proposed to follow the law of England and Wales, without removing mandatory protections.
